North America’s premier additive manufacturing exhibition, RAPID + TCT 2026, was held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Industrial 3D printing leader UnionTech, under the theme “Create What’s Next, Print Smart Manufacturing,” completed the global debut of its first overseas industrial SLM metal 3D printer – MUEES430 PRO at Booth 1865, marking UnionTech’s official entry into the North American metal additive manufacturing market with high-end technology.

Strategic Product Global Debut, Batch Production Intelligence Upgraded
At 11:30 AM on April 14, UnionTech held the MUEES430 PRO global launch ceremony at the exhibition. Developed specifically for international markets with “Batch Production, Smart Manufacturing Upgraded” as its core value, the system features a 430×340×330mm large build volume, quad 500W fiber lasers with high-speed galvo scanners, achieving scan speeds up to 6 m/s and jump speeds up to 18 m/s. The innovative bidirectional powder recoating technology increases recoating efficiency by 20% compared to unidirectional systems, significantly reducing non-productive time and enabling breakthrough batch production efficiency.

The system utilizes imported high-power lasers with M²≤1.2 beam quality, stable power fluctuation within ±1%, and ±3μm Z-axis accuracy, ensuring ultra-thin, uniform powder layers and premium dense part formation. It supports various metal materials including stainless steel, aluminum alloy, and titanium alloy, with minimum oxygen level controlled at 100 ppm and preheating temperature up to 200°C.
Self-Developed Systems Ensure Stable Production and Full Traceability
The MUEES430 PRO features UnionTech’s self-developed atmosphere recirculation system with sintered plate design increasing filter area, extending service life to over 40,000 hours and significantly reducing maintenance costs. Fast gas purging technology reaches 4000 ppm oxygen level within 10 minutes, shortening equipment preparation time. Dual fixed sealing technology achieves zero leakage protection, extending rail maintenance cycles by 3x.
The system is equipped with a real-time intelligent monitoring system enabling full build chamber monitoring and traceable print quality; CFD-optimized airflow design ensures smooth, uniform gas flow throughout the chamber; and ISO13849-compliant design with UPS power backup comprehensively ensures equipment safety and stable operation.

SLM Metal Additive Applications Deep Dive, Batch Production Capability Verified On-Site
At the exhibition, MUEES430 PRO printed metal samples demonstrated batch production capabilities across multiple industries:
Consumer Electronics: 116 stainless steel 316L watch cases printed in one batch, 42×7×53mm, completed in 35.4 hours total, showcasing complex hollow and integrated forming capability with exquisite finish
Tire Molds: 208 tire mold sipes mass produced (11×9×49mm), integrated forming without welding, higher strength and fatigue life, supporting topology lightweight structures for multi-variety flexible production
Automotive Lightweighting: Automotive wheel rim (320×320×52mm, AlSi10Mg) completed in 19 hours, aiding “unsprung mass” reduction in the EV era and shortening design validation cycles; automotive valve body (200×146×147mm) demonstrating complex internal channel integrated forming capability
Aerospace: Microchannel lattice heat exchanger (364×125×318mm, AlSi10Mg) using G-type TPMS structure, achieving 32% weight reduction, 17% volume reduction, and 1/3 pressure drop reduction while maintaining heat exchange performance; topology optimized titanium bracket (237×73×130mm, TC4) achieving 20%-50% weight reduction, suitable for commercial aerospace and robotics industries
Energy & Industrial: Tail nozzle (215×215×341mm, 316L) simplifying traditional 30+ part welded structures into integrated forming, eliminating weld weaknesses; stainless steel heat sink (158×158×5mm) completed in 8.5 hours

SLA Technology Synergy Display, End-to-End Solutions Complete
In addition to metal additive manufacturing, UnionTech showcased its UT ONE integrated intelligent platform and SLA technology applications across multiple fields, including: integrated printed automotive door (RSPro2100, 61 hours), illuminated headlights/taillights, tire molds (RA900/RA600), investment casting patterns, rapid molds, and workholding fixtures, providing North American customers with end-to-end industrial additive manufacturing solutions from design to production.

North American Market Strategy Deepened, Localized Cooperation Fully Launched
RAPID + TCT 2026 marked a crucial step in UnionTech’s North American strategy. During the exhibition, UnionTech formally announced a strategic partnership with North Channel 3D—a prominent North American manufacturing technology company—to establish a localized commercial and service platform across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The collaboration is designed to advance UnionTech’s regional development through a fully integrated infrastructure encompassing sales, applications development, service, materials supply, and partner network enablement. As part of the agreement, North Channel 3D will establish a North American demonstration and applications center, supported by a structured regional partner network to ensure consistent market coverage and localized customer support.

This initiative enables North American customers to access UnionTech’s industrial additive manufacturing portfolio—including the MUEES430 PRO—together with convenient technical experience, sample prototyping, and comprehensive after-sales support. Through the MUEES430 PRO global debut and this strategic partnership, UnionTech demonstrated its quad-laser high-efficiency batch production capability and intelligent process monitoring system to the North American market, reinforcing its commitment to long-term market development rather than short-term market entry. Professional visitors on-site expressed high recognition of equipment performance and engaged in in-depth discussions for future cooperation.
