Keeping improving and making products into works of art

Xiumei Model's main products include various types of container ship models, offshore models, semi-submersible drilling platform models, tanker models, transport ship models, dredgers, military models, Liaoning ship model aircraft carrier models, medium and deep water semi-submersible drilling platforms, boat models, antique boat models, etc. Each piece of work is uniquely designed, and the finished ship model is mainly used for project display, bidding, gifts, teaching, etc.

The company relied on manual production before the introduction of 3D printing, with long construction period and low production capacity. Since the introduction of Luen Thai 3D printing, the production capacity has been rapidly increased, and 70-80 projects and hundreds of ship model products can be produced every month. The length of the large ship model is about 9m. The bottom of the large ship model is NC machined, and the rest of the structure is completed by 3D printing. The smaller ship model adopts 3D printing and the whole ship is about 1.2m long and 30cm wide. 3D printing technology not only effectively increases production capacity, but also greatly simplifies the production process. A perfect ship model production process is from customer order to 2D drawing production, and then 3D data modeling is completed according to 2D image files. 3D modeling data will be imported into a 3D printing device to complete the hull structure after being simply processed by the 3D printing software. Eventually, the printed parts will be color processed and assembled into a perfect finished product.
